Sexism in advertisism

It annoys me that male and female models are both "sexualised" (apostrophes because I don't believe in it), but we are told that all women are beautiful, we should stop doing it, and fat women are cool.

What about men?

Nowadays all the voices of authority/credibility in commercials are women, while the buffoons are men. Usually the men have high pitched voices, and speak in self-deprecating ways. I try to mute commercials so none of it sinks into my subconscious.

You are possibly too young to have received the memo in the early nineties that boys are not welcome in any education settings.
