At first I was going to say that from the sound of the family to begin with, it sounds like the dad got the better sentence. He's behind bars, sure, but he gets 3 hots and a cot for 30 days, paid for by taxpayers, while she has to come up with 1,000 euros.

Then it occurred to me, who exactly do you think is gonna be the one actually paying that 1,000 euros, after he gets out of jail?
