I take the Dave Chappelle perspective on this: she wanted to fuck a powerful man, that's IT; that's as far as she thought it through. Because she didn't think it through, she didn't really understand that Bill's a rapist who's lucky enough to have a wife who's not only complicit in her husband's infidelity, but almost revels in trying to silence and smear the victims he creates.

I do NOT, however, think Lewinsky was one of those victims; she was a young and naïve girl who walked into what she was doing with her eyes wide open. The ONLY smart element of that equation was her keeping the dress; without that the entire case against Bill Clinton couldn't have moved forward on a social level because his reputation would've remained spotless (pun intended). For that, and that alone, I give Lewinsky credit for demonstrating to the world that even the so-called fighters for women's rights on the left could be sub-human pieces of shit too, but she's not a victim.

But she really was a victim. According to the oppressor/oppressed dynamic which takes into account hierarchical position, the same dynamic that tells us teachers fucking students is rape, she was a staffer while he was king of the country, ergo, he had a mega-boss position over her and that equals rape because she was under the thrall of his position.
