Female teacher harassed, stalked, and sexually abused male student--who "didn’t feel safe at school" and later attempted suicide because of the abuse--receives 7-15 months in jail

In his victim impact statement, the victim said he felt harassed and stalked and "didn’t feel safe at school".

He said the ex-teacher was "domineering" and he felt "overwhelmed" by her advances.

Despite her emotional blackmail, he tried to end the relationship a number of times. She had already been the subject of several complaints and had been reprimanded over her conduct with other male students.

They continued: "He repeatedly said to her, 'I can't'...The offender responded to the complainant in a dismissive way saying, 'what do you mean you can't?'"

The teen finally ended the relationship in April but the teacher continued to contact him. He attempted suicide in the school toilets at the end of 2016.

The more details one reads about the case, the more clear it becomes that she is a legitimate predator and deserves a much longer sentence in jail for her behavior and the damage she caused

And the Pussy Pass in this case can hardly be downplayed by the typical "but she was actually in love with him" (since it's evident she's a serial predator who was inappropriate with other boys before him) nor the "I'm sure he was completely willing and bragging to his friends / it's a victimless crime" BS that people like to use in these cases

It's just another case of a female abuser getting away with it because she's a mother, and in this case because she was pregnant

Prosecutors this week sought a jail term for the woman, despite her being pregnant.

That shouldn't even weigh into what kind of sentence a rapist receives

What 15 months. She'll be walking out in 7. A man would have spent that much time in jail awaiting trial.

Note how the media says "met up with him in a storeroom" rather than "raped him in a closet".

Less than 50% non parole is almost unheard of in Australia, as is less than 2 years for a serious sex crime.
