I got out of a 10 month relationship about 3 weeks ago and just went on my first date. It's caused me to realise a few of my sticking points before I met my girlfriend.

First, I don't have any problem hugging someone or giving them a kiss on the chick when I meet them. I'm quite relaxed about that..

The first sticking point is that I find it difficult to be generally touchy during conversation and find it difficult to create opportunities for it. I retardly, though still works, have a tendency to brush up against chicks a little when we are walking together.

So yeh.. touch game is seriously weak..

..and what is even weaker is my first kiss close. I think this is where most of my issues hinder. Pre-kiss I am a different person. I am still becoming more relaxed as I gain positive experiences, but transitioning from not kissing a woman to kissing her is an awkward place for me. After that I'm perfectly comfortable.

The anxiety is mostly in these places. I don't really have it after a kiss or after I've slept with someone.

It is obviously a fear of rejection, but I'd appreciate any advice and/or suggestions on guides/materials for how to escalate properly.
