That's because to them boys = the top elite 1% of boys that actually do have all the privileges that are regularly projected onto all boys.

Its kinda like in the US when women go on about what their lives would be like if they were men and they manage to only ever reference the absolute top elite of privileged men as if they represent the average American man.
