You're talking about more than just this post; you're talking about the movement generating buzz. Even just on Reddit, that takes collective energy from a lot of people. And honestly, unless it gains so much buzz that it's picked up by the mainstream news, it won't influence the trial or the fallout from said trial at all. It takes quite a bit of effort to make that happen.

And if we, as a movement try to create that kind of impact over every single female-on-male crime, we are (a) going to achieve nothing by having spread ourselves to thin, and (b) inure the public to our complaints, because we'll be complaining every single day, which just makes us look like fanatical whiners.

Anyway, this is pointless, because it could never be done anyway. My real point is that trying to draw attention to female-on-male crimes, simply because they happen to be female-on-male is pointless, and not about any specific male issue. A woman getting a light sentence in a context wherein a man would've likely gotten a harsher one is, but that hasn't happened in this case yet. Wait until there's actually an issue at hand.
