Those 30k women won't find a man since they can settle with someone with no degree even though they are gainfully employed. Forget about lowering expectations as well.

I maintain my curiosity; is this, at least in part, because more men than women are looking at the debt they'll likely be facing and choosing to bypass college all together?

Men are still expected to be the breadwinners, right? So it would make sense for these kids to be looking at their future and noping the fuck out of college loans if they have other options ( and no matter what pro-college folks say, trades are a great alternative to a 4 year degree ).

And yet men still overwhelmingly choose STEM degrees, so women are still missing out on educational opportunities /s.
