Revenue from comic sales << revenue from a hit movie.

Audiences for the movie seem to be roughly 50/50 male/female.

Therefore, these days DC's revenue from the WW property is pretty much gender-balanced.

The character of WW was created in the era of women's lib and intended from the start to ~~pander to~~ tap into the new market of women who were right into that stuff.

Bottom line: I don't think you have a good argument here.

If this is a legitimate MRA argument, maybe I should stop being an MRA.

If we're going to argue, "Technically, men are the reason Wonder Women did so well because we read the comics back in the day when it was uncool," maybe it's time for me to move on.
