Feminist say a rape culture would be one where sexual violence is trivialized by the culture as whole. In that case, I think so many letters from people apparently thinking this is no big deal or a woman like this didn't commit a serious crime is pretty clear evidence of a culture trivializing sexual abuse

Apparently the woman in this case tried to manipulate the boy into keeping quiet, but ultimately he did report what she was doing. The prosecution asserted the conduct harmed the boy, who went on to commit a felony and is now in juvenile custody

But "forget about the boy, this poor woman was on drugs! She has it hard enough as it is! Give her a break :("
