I'm 23 and applying to go to medical school next year. For those of you unfamiliar with the process, it'll take 4 years of school + at least 3 years of grueling residency. I'm not currently looking to date anyone because i'm trying to focus on bettering myself. I eventually do though. I want to find a man that is not a pushover. I want a guy who isn't unfortunately brainwashed by feminism. Yet, I completely understand that guys like this don't want a woman that's career obsessed...I don't mind if he doesn't make as much money as me as long as he is passionate about the things he cares about.

I guess what i'm ranting about is that i'm doing medicine because I truly can't see myself doing anything else. I think I would be good at it. I want to help people. However, it breaks my heart that I won't be able to have a regular family. I really do want kids and have only ever had 2 boyfriends (the only two people i've hooked up with). I've tried to be a proper woman to the best of my ability. I've failed plenty of times, but i'm working on becoming more self aware. I'm just afraid none of it will matter because I really do get why a guy wouldn't want to date a girl like me. I don't want to regret my decision. I love children so much...I'm so afraid I'm going to ruin my future. It's affecting my mindset now, and honestly, its been making me kind of depressed.

I was thinking maybe dentistry or something, but i'm not sure. Any advice would be appreciated, highly critical or not! Thanks!
