Very attracted to a girl in a short summer college class that is ending tomorrow. I've been afraid of blowing out in front of everyone. How do I pull this off and escalate from zero?

I'd like to really go on a date with this girl. She is beautiful and is always dressed very stylishly. I have not spoken to her because of the way this class is divided up into smaller groups who work together the entire time and since she's always late. It always seemed awkward to randomly go up to her for the 1st time when everyone is working orderly/quietly in their groups (which is the case every class for the entire time) and I just decide to talk to her out of nowhere. How do I approach in this situation?
