University bans gendered words...is Free speech dying?

Free speech died when PC culture began to become mainstream nearly 3/4 of a century ago.

We let it die when we fell into the trap of hate-speech is speech so ugly it should be banned.

That's free speech for you. You have to allow and even support people with horrible ideas speaking about them. Unless you're actively willing to support that you're sadly part of the problem. Being pro free speech these days will absolutely destroy your reputation with the average person. Are you willing to make that sacrifice?

I'm not sure if Cardiff Metropolitan is the last great hope of free speech, so your title here is a bit melodramatic. That said, what a stupid thing for them to do!
