PE teacher, 31, who had an affair with a 15-year-old schoolboy is banned from the classroom for life. Why did the CPS not bring charges. They can still do this even if a victim refuses to testify.

Pupil A was interviewed by police on the July 19, 2015 and said he did not want to make a formal complaint of a crime.

Which is curious, considering

'The allegation came to light in approximately June 2015 when Pupil A disclosed to his GP that he had been the victim of alleged sexual abuse at the hands of Ms Sharman when asked why he was "depressed".

The boy later sent a threatening letter to disgraced Alexandra Sharman at about the time he confided to a GP that he was the victim of 'sex abuse'.

Though I suppose it could be simply that he wanted her removed from the classroom, but didn't want to go through the stress of a whole legal investigation and trial. Either way,

Ms Sharman was found guilty of unacceptable professional conduct and conduct...

Ms Draper said: 'There is no evidence Ms Sharman's actions were not deliberate and there is no evidence to suggest she was acting under duress. In fact, the panel found the teacher's actions to be calculated and intentional.'

The school was informed by the police in December 2015 they would not be pursuing criminal prosecution against Ms Sharman.

So they recognize that she's a calculated sex predator, and yet she's not being legally punished. That really makes no sense; the victim doesn't have to press charges for her to be prosecuted. Why is it not enough that the victim already provided ample evidence that she committed the crime? Clearly they're not really concerned about keeping genuine sex predators away from the general population

My ex scum of a gf dated a kid when he was 16 and she was 32. Left her family and got with him for 10 years. Oh and his folks were rich. Basically became a neglectful parent to be a live in fuck doll for a horny teenage boy. She got away with it too. I feel for the guy she left as he had to raise the kid alone. It'd probably be called female empowerment if I told that to feminist.
