I was let go from my job recently but given a severance package. My support payments have been coming out of the severance so I haven't missed anything while I was out of work. I start a new job on Monday but my previous employer will still be paying my the reverence payments so there will be overlap for a month. My child support payments are automatically taken out of my paychecks. What will happen with the support payments? Will they be taken out of both paychecks? Should I contact the new employer about it or the child support enforcement agency?
