I hope she doesn't just get off with a slap on the wrist. Not sure what kind of punishment comes with the charge she received but I hope they don't take it easy. These types of cases seem to happen way too often and the suspects need to be made examples of. Its not ok to have police wasting time and resources for your bullshit accusations.

This is actually the result of penis pass in this Muslim American family. Were it not for her strict parents (presumably mostly her father) she wouldn't have a Goddamn curfew. Islam also prohibits the consumption of alcohol so before you say but I know a Muslim who drinks, those are moderate Muslims and they are drinking something knowing their religion does not condone it. Also the devoutly religious commonly oppose dating non Muslims, or even permitting their daughters to date whoever they deem unsuitable for any number of arbitrary reasons. She is dating a Christian man which is why she made the story up to avoid whatever punishment her father had planned for her. Which she ended up not avoiding anyway. The father forced her to shave her head, so alleges the article. And her brother was charged with grand larceny?! It's the MEN in this family who are fucked up. And the father will probably never be accused of abuse or anything because in this kind of family where the father always knows best you can't challenge their authority. He sounds like a piece of shit. Stop judging the poor girl. She is a friggin baby at age 18. God forbid all you men got judged for whatever you did at age 18. For the record I'm an American male living in a Muslim country. I have nothing sexual to gain from supporting women because I don't want pussy. I find the sub funny.
