Plot twist: Turns out she was right about her warrents. The warrants the officer was trying to arrest her for, she had already been arrested for. Had she just peacefully complied, he would have arrested her, ran her name, and released her. But she wants act like an asshole so she ended up going to jail for resisting.

I actually think the punch was unnecessary. You do other things physically to restrain someone besides hitting them in the face. That said, why do people always think they know more than cops?! Just fucking do what they say and this shit won't happen.
