I am 21, and I was at a birthday party for my cousin. I can say since the last time I've hung out with this side of the family I've upgraded my fashion, lost weight, and became mature. As soon as I step out of the car and walk over near family I can see her looking at me. I just stay polite, go around with my handshakes and hello's and sit down on the porch to watch tv.
After a while I go watch them play a game of sacks (cornhole, but I like calling it sacks). After watching I play against her and her boyfriend and she says something to me, though all I hear is something about giving me something (I don't know what that something is). After the game I go inside and talk to family.
A little while later we are all inside and I notice her looking at me, but she quickly looks away. I just smirk and think it's funny.
The party is about to end, then I say my goodbyes. I test the scenario when I compliment someone and she calls me a gentleman, but with a slight higher tone of voice. Mind you she has barely ever talked to me since I was a kid (been around us for years).
tl;dr - family has party, family friend keeps looking at me.
I don't what to escalate at all, but what if she comes onto me? Am I overthinking this?
