As a guy who recently ended a 6 year marriage and just jumped back into dating, I can't give this a big enough AMEN! Been trying the Tinder thing and after 4 or 5 first dates, I've had ONE woman even offer to split the bill with me. Of course, I didn't let her, but the gesture of offering made her so much more attractive to me. Of the 2 women who compatible enough to move on to 2nd and 3rd dates, only one of those offered to split the check...

When the topic of dating comes up, I am incredibly grateful that I've been married for 20 years and don't have to deal with all this crap today. Single guys: I'm sorry, I feel for you.

I'm fortunate because my wife is very capable, self-reliant and successful in her career. She has zero interest in feminism, because she doesn't think of herself as a victim the way that feminism indoctrinates women to think. She's always simply gone after her goals and usually achieved them, because no evil "patriarchy" ever showed up to stop her. She simply doesn't need feminism, it has nothing to offer her, and she thinks it's all nonsense.

I'm certain that more women would have success if they dumped feminism, dropped the victimhood mindset, and simply got to work on their goals. I've noticed that you hardly ever see high-achieving, successful women who identify as feminists, and I think there's an obvious reason for that: you simply won't go hard for your goals while you think you're a victim.

So if I can offer some completely unsolicited dating advice, it would be just to look for a women who's already making things happen for herself. If she's growing a business or building a career then you know she doesn't think like a victim, so she won't feel that she needs feminism, and she's someone who you can have an equal life partnership with. I think that's a great foundation for a happy long term relationship, at least it has been for us.

I saw this a few months ago - he's actually quite good! I did like this video but my God, he led a merry song and dance in answering her; after initially disagreeing and explaining why in a professional manner that should have had each and every woman In that audience looking at themselves, he eventually arrived back where he started, essentially, just to reinforce the expectation they all wanted him too in the first place with his 'if you don't offer to contribute you weren't raised right, if he doesn't actually pay for you HE wasn't raised right!' - basically what he's saying is at least have the decency to go through the motions, even if you have no intention on seeing it through, which is wrong because the rest of what he says there is pretty much spot on! For me, he'd made the point a few mins in when he sat there saying 'he has to pay for the date because he's the man; you have to have sex with him whenever he wants because you're the woman' and spoke on how absurd it is to only accept the double standards you like! I think that rammed the point home like a sledgehammer with that crowd given the silence that followed and he should have just stopped talking about it there and moved on to the next question, but then if he had done we would have missed the pearlers he was doling out about the impression women like this give out in their expectation to be paid for (my favourite part of his answer). Personally, I'm out of the dating game now. I've not been on a date for a little over 6 years but I can tell you now, when I was, after a string of dates where it became apparent you were only there to pay for her night out, I got to a point where if I didn't want to see the woman again I would initially refuse to pay for her and go from there just to judge the reaction. You would be seriously shocked at how many of these supposedly "strong, independent" self entitled princesses think it's okay to go out to a restaurant or somewhere expensive without taking ANY money or card's with them! In fairness, I only actually ever point blank refused with one particularly obnoxious woman! She introduced herself with something like 'hi, I don't like to be touched, just sit down' then proceeded to dial someone on the phone and talk to them until the waiter came to take the orders. We didn't really speak as I'd already decided she was rude - she ordered wine, ate, had desert. When she was done and I asked the waiter for separate bills her face hit the floor and she immediately called me a cheap bastard but had to call someone to come and pay her bill lmao
