To be more precise, I wouldn't say they are incapable of caring about another human being, only that they are incapable of caring about another human being more than they care about themselves (or even equally). A small difference, but important, I think, to note. Because many men who find themselves in a relationship with women like this would probably reject this assertion without thinking on it, because "of course she cares about me!". But if you get him thinking about whether she cares about him as much as she cares about herself, and even how much he cares about her, that can give him a breakthrough.

I do agree with your sentiment, for the most part. I disagree with the non-human/sub-human statement - it's an incredibly human thing, to be human is to be flawed, take away accountability and a human becomes capable of pretty horrible things.

But absolutely, avoid women who do things like this. Relationships like that are unhealthy and often abusive. And it's absolutely because of the lack of accountability and responsibility women have. It's sad how normalized this has become.

I really hope this isn't true, but most of my relationships have been like this. The number of relationships like this that I've had indicates to me that there's something I need to either change about myself or look out for in the future. Namely, that's setting healthy boundaries which I'm learning to do.

I've very recently ended a relationship upon the recommendation of friends, and a psychiatrist who had met both of us. Many of our arguments started out like this:

Me: "I don't like how you're treating me right now."

Her: "Well I was only reacting to how rude you where earlier when you said <innocuous thing being interpreted into something rude>! If you would just quit being rude then I wouldn't treat you poorly!"

Me: "....."

I eventually got wise to this behavior from the psychiatrist and pointed out to her when she did it. I'd say "You're making me responsible for your actions right now." Boom.. some other excuse that doesn't make sense. There is never any addressing of my initial problem. Basically, my needs were secondary to hers at all times. I do believe she cares deeply about me, but not as a partner. I think the relationship was more of an "I-it" relationship as Martin Buber calls it. I was simply her pet.

I think modern women have taken on the status of ancient goddesses. It is that they re above reproach and criticism. Because of this, they are no accountable.
