Statistics are always something to be wary of.

The university that I attend sent out a link to the annual safety report. Under the "Sexual Harassment" section, 0 incidents were reported in 2013, 11 in 2014, and 49 in 2015. Seems pretty alarming that it shot up like that, at first glance. Then at the bottom of the table, there's a little note: "In 2015 34 of the 41 Sexual Harassment cases reported in Residential Facilities involved graffiti" (The other 8 cases were on non-residential on-campus facilities - no indication of whether those were graffiti related or not).

Examples of sexual harrassment in current year: graffitti of 'tits' or calling someone 'sweetie'.

In the 1970's you would see these things as often as you breath air.
