She is the best person for the job out of those available so I welcome Teresa May as Prime minister as I am sure most other people on this board do. The MRM is about equality and fair treatment for men and boys. I do not mind if 90% of the cabinet is female if they are the best people for the job. I believe that having more women in top political roles is good for men and boys.

Why?

My experience is that the feminist left really do hate men but women who are right on the political spectrum like Margaret Thacher and Teresa May recognise men's achievement and are far less likely to enact policies that directly hurt men. The feminist left if they ever came to power like Harriet Harmen or Yvette Cooper would very likely enact policies that would directly discriminate against men and boys. The feminist left detest males and make it very clear. All other women do not really care about feminism and are more equitable

In the past men have been altruistic in policies towards women, I am hoping that this will be reciprocated.

And is she pro-Brexit or not?

She was in the "Remain camp" but kept a very low profile and did not seem committed to remaining in Europe. The people in the UK are all "pro remain and pro leave". It just depends how important certain issues are to you. She is very against unregulated immigration and ultimately to control the inflow of immigrants and eastern europeans you had to vote to leave.

Now the die has been cast there is really no going back so everyone is rallying around Brexit.

It will take about 4 to 6 years to completely leave Europe and then only time will tell whether it was the correct decision.

I wouldn't go as far as this, but i'd say the absence of women is a symptom of effects which disadvantage men. Forcing more women into top jobs merely covers up those symptoms.

Men are in these jobs because of the social pressures against them and such. Put simply, more of them want these jobs, and more of them want it more. That wont change merely by forcing women into the position artificially.

Teresa May and the conservatives generally are against quotas and have not had them. All the men and women in the Conservative party have got there on merit. It is Labour who have female only short lists and want quotas. Again the political left is the one that struggles with male hate.

As a side note Teresa may like Margaret Thatcher do not identify as Feminists. Teresa May says she is not a feminist but supports equality for all. I very much doubt any policies will now be enacted that are beneficial to women, at the detriment of men, like closing female prisons or allow Universities to expel students on an alleged charge without the Police being involved. These two proposals are both suported by Labour..
