I have mixed feelings about what's happening, I admit. Of course here we have 'hoist on your own petard' silliness. But also this whole atheist/skepticon crowd, and their obvious connections with the establishment... Promoting "we are only skeptical of things that the govt don't like" line.

In any case, PC agenda is fake as it can be, and Carrier surely stepped into it good.

This happens in any socially revendicative movement.

The so-called progressive left does not produce anything.

It relies on forceful redistribution (the tradcon concept of stealing) of ressources, be it money, media time or fame.

It thus tends to attract opportunists. Also, idealists, but these morons will get stabbed in the back in the early stages. Because they don't stab first.

It follows that the cake is never big enough, and infighting inevitably follows.

The only problem is the amount of damage done to innocent bystanders before each 'movement' collapses.

Edit: yes, some 'social justice movements' were historically justified. But I'm European. A stupendous amount of social equality was pushed by the right.
