There is a mens shelter in Prince George called Ketso Yoh. It is new and in a town that desperatly needs one. There is a large homeless populace there. http://www.pgnfc.com/programs_services.html

Unfortunately I can't recommend any. I can disrecommend a couple, though.

Gateway for Men is just a place for drug addicts to shoot up. Instead of encouraging men to become not homeless, preference is given to long term residents. Almost all the men I met there who told me they had jobs were sleeping in the overflow area on the floor. Beds were reserved for the junkies.

Fort Myers Rescue Mission used to be good, but they've changed a lot under their new leadership. Men with children aren't allowed to stay unless the mother is with them... and then the father can't live in the family unit with them. Women with kids in family unit, men in dorm. He can't even hang out with them on mission property, because men and women aren't allowed to fraternize... even if they're married.

It's not a shelter but I volunteer at a out of the cold organisation that feeds the people that need shelters here in Toronto
