With the recent passing of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, I'm seeing a lot of posts online about people saying they're glad he's dead. That doesn't surprise me. One thing I do find surprising is that they are saying he deserved to die because he was clearly a beta male. While I'm not sure where one can get that assumption though, I see that a lot of aspects about the depressed and suicidal are likely incompatible with those of the Alpha culture, the public outpouring of emotion, clearly visible anxiety, fear, and regret, and a clear struggle with social situations especially with women.

So let me just ask this, in as shown in the topic above, what are your thoughts on mental illness, depression, and those that are suicidal? What do you feel is effective treatment, if any? And if you were faced with someone who was suicidal, how would you react?
