In court Wednesday, Mitchell pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child abuse. She was facing up to three years behind bars. But since she has no criminal record, the judge sentenced her to four and a half years’ probation.

My dad spent more time in jail for a DUI. He had a clean record aside from a speeding ticket or two. He had a bad drinking problem and hit another car, nobody was hurt. He got two weeks in jail and he asked for weekends because he had a family to support. Judge told him to fuck off. Luckily he told his work he had a "family emergency" and they didn't find out. It would have been a lot worse but the person he hit didn't show up so they had to drop the felony charge.

This women covers up a child getting getting abused and there like...well she has never messed up before so she shouldn't go to jail. That is fucked up.

Mitchell’s boyfriend told deputies he also knew the girl was raped but didn’t call police. He is charged with child abuse.

I wonder what sentence the boyfriend will get.
