It seems ironic, but she is the recipient of the rare female-protecting pussy pass. A number of states will either aggressively appeal dismissals of domestic violence allegations, or effectively ban dismissals outright. These sorts of policies were enacted to protect vulnerable women who might swear out a complaint, but then be pressured by their abusers into dropping the charges by a combination of mental abuse, coercion, alienation from friends and family, threats of further physical abuse and so on. Perhaps the only good thing about whining little snowflake millennials is that white knights aside, today's "men" might be more willing to press charges against their abusers in the first place. We might see this sort of pussy pass denial more frequently.

I'm not 100% sure which way to feel on this one. I know there's cases where a group will lie to damage/destroy another's reputation. I'd really like to hear the evidence before saying her celebrity pass was denied.
