Is there any way to get a criminal investigation against her for this serious fucking crime? She's blatantly admitting to it through a media outlet.

As someone whos ex had friends violently attack me using a false rape accusation after I caught her cheating and kicked her out, this is making me furious.

Nothing will happen to her, which is a travesty.

And there's never any way to prove rape. It's impossible. Even DNA can be rebutted by the guy saying "it was consensual" - that's automatic reasonable doubt (very reasonable doubt).

An assault charge would require Sean's cooperation. Why would he co-operate now, when he has already gone through this decision and chose not to report the beating? At that time he had a stack of fresh evidence, he was in a much stronger position.

On the other post people who know that jurisdiction say she is outside the statute of limitations for assault, since it was five years ago.
