Feel good story for every father who's had his kids stolen from him by a "Family" Court. Still sad that it only becomes news when a mother won't see her kids again.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's unclear whether the father lawfully (and fairly) brought his children to Lebanon in the first place. Regardless, however, it seems he did so because he feared that any family court proceeding would be biased against him.

I feel bad for the children; had the mother prevailed, they would have lost their father, and because she did not, they've lost their mother. I empathize with the father, however. Were I in the same situation, with the foreknowledge that any family court proceeding would be a sham in which the only outcome would favor the mother, I hope I'd find the courage to do what he did.

This subreddit is soo biased and anti-women. He kidnapped the kids and took them to Lebanon. Why would anybody celebrate one parent kidnapping their kids and taking them from the other parent. Further, in Lebanon... women barely have parental rights to their children. So its laughable to speak about the fairness of Family Courts when speaking about Muslim countries.
