Yesterday, an acquaintance deflected my opinion of the US Women's Soccer team's discrimination suit... on the basis of me not having read the actual filing. She didn't refute any of the points I made. She just insisted that--whatever is in the actual filing-- must trump my ignorance.

Additionally, I am "an asshole". A feminist bystander announced she "wants to punch" me "in the face". And (a few seconds after the first woman stormed away, a third woman asked) "have you apologized to her?" (For what?)

Today I tried to find a copy of the filing online, but haven't found any news source which includes a direct link.
