the moral of the story is that if you're very sensitive to criticism or any kind of drama, then maybe politics (or being any sort of public figure) is not for you. being a woman has fuck all to do with it.

This is such a great example of the type of feminism that people hate. She's saying that women don't get into politics because it's nasty and unforgiving, and therefore politicians should cater to the "delicate sensibilities" of women to get more of them involved. They don't want equality; They want special treatment.

Oh the poor, meek women of Earth. How could any of them possibly stand up and fight for what they believe in when evil men are using business-as-usual political attacks against their opponents? What a clown this lady is. Plenty of women have been called far worse, and guess what: They use it as ammunition and motivation to keep going. They don't kowtow to the big bad words of their opponents.
