Like what? I'm not trying to be confrontational but you seem to have some view of how we all are and I just want to find out what it is. Personally I read this stuff because I used to be a people pleaser to the detrement of my own happiness and trp has taught me that occasionally being selfish is a better option than trying to make other people happy. I don't hate women, this has just made me realise that some of the differences between men and women are ok, so long as you realise that they exist.

Sorry to say but I'm a very diplomatic and almost "sweet" guy. I live by the golden rule but I'm not afraid to exercise the iron fist. I don't think me subscribing here makes me a "sad" person. I'm sure there's alot of Patrick Bateman wannabes here but most of the guys you'll find here are guys just like me. Guys who have tried to do the right thing time after time to no avail. Mostly...guys just curious...even desperate and looking for at least SOMETHING to maybe point them in the right direction. Sure, there are some of the more sociopathic variety here but sociopaths exist in whatever realm and morality you subscribe yourself to. So much so that they'd be the last person to come on here and say that other people are sad when they can spend their time duping other people to believe the anti-thesis to TRP.
I'd like to say "WHO HURT YOU?" as a joke but we've all been hurt. In some way or another. And being mislead and deceived is being hurt. Which is why many men are here.
I do not find the men at TRP sad. I personally do not believe I need TRP in my life. But I like coming here because it makes me feel proud that there is SOMETHING going on in society that makes men improve, makes men more aware, and makes men more ambitious in terms of getting what they want out of life. Because that's what I want. Might as well consider another perspective.
There are "bad apples" in every bunch.
It's nothing personal...I don't think you're a "sad person" like you're calling every subscriber to this sub. But I'm at least interested into knowing why you feel slighted and are willing to make such a broad generalization. I may not be able to convince you...but I can at least do my best to understand.
Doing your best to understand is pretty much the essence of TRP...everything else is just a matter of how far you take it.

You said you're proud of a society that makes men 'improve' .. but the 'men' are not the ones that are improving.
If you are in advertising you could get better sales by improving your product. You put time into research, create a better product, something that someone else wants, the benefit is greater sales, more uptake of your product ... or .. you could get better sales by bringing down the competition, running a smear campaign on your competition (just like in politics), you're aim is not to show how good you are because you know you are inferior, your aim is to bring down the competition to a level at which you can beat them.
So in this case, you are not improving yourself.

Yeah I understand that...and honestly sometimes TRP has me shaking in my boots only because I see stories of guys improving on here. Those guys will be my competition some day...some way. But that is life. Competition is life.
It would be wonderful if women were just handed to people....just like how jobs are handed to privileged people. I know that there are some people on TRP with a "chip on their shoulder" when it comes to life. That chip is usually women. If they want to be bitter then that's their problem. I have no problem with women. The chip on my shoulder is fuckers born from privilege who get handed jobs, status, money, everything in life.
Fuck those people. My argument is with those people. Not you. Not people of TRP. I just like seeing controversial things so that's why I'm here.
I'm not the guy to defend TRP at all. But that phrase "a force to be reckoned with." Yeah...I tend to know what that looks like when I see it.
