What I've noticed while reading this sub is how many women who are found guilty of this kind of offense are "emotionally vulnerable" and get psychiatric care instead of a lengthy prison sentence, whereas with stories where the aggressor is a male, he's just a creep who needs to rot in jail. Everyone seems concerned about the guilty party's children if a woman is charged, but I don't think I've read of a man being found guilty and someone saying "his children need their father"

It's sad that the fact she actually is going to prison made me think this was r/pussypassdenied. Still should've been more.

Did nobody notice this key line from the article?

Szychulski faced a sentence of two to three years in prison, but the judge noted the victim wrote a letter to the court asking that his former teacher receive psychiatric treatment instead of a lengthy time in jail.

This was a plead from the victim himself to have the sentence reduced.
