According to the article, "prosecutors could never prove that she was impaired on the August 2010 morning she plowed her Lexus into a palm tree off the Palmetto Expressway." This is less /r/pussypassdenied and more of a /r/justiceporn. Just because she was an internet model does not mean she deserves more or less. The prosecution could not prove their case, and she got off with this sentence.
"Armada could not be charged with DUI manslaughter because investigators could not prove when she had taken the Ecstasy drug, and her blood alcohol content level was well below the legal limit. But prosecutors did file charges of vehicular manslaughter."

I'm gonna get downvoted into oblivion, but I don't think she should get any time. Our justice system is fucked in how we want retribution for everything, rather than focusing on outcomes. They likely couldn't prove impairment because it was trace amounts of X(from prior usage), and she'd only drank what would otherwise be considered a responsible amount. But nope, fuck her; gotta make em pay.

Meanwhile, there's probably a million Americans driving around in similar or worse condition on any given Friday night. A glass of wine with dinner and a joint last week and you're fucked, and you deserve it according to most here. She might have made a stupid move while driving, but she was what, 21? Who doesn't drive like a dumbass at 21? Jesus Christ, she has to live the rest of her life knowing she killed her friends. Make her go around and talk to kids at schools, make her establish and fund scholarships in the victims names, be in videos for defensive driving; I don't know just something constructive. Nope fuck her, let's pay a fuck load of money to keep her in a cage and ruin a 3rd life. Murka is just dumb as fuck sometimes. Forgive me if there are other more damning details to this case, but I'm not even just talking about this, more the general stupidity with justice here.
