Good post, more of us speak out like you did the better.

I think saying women face DV daily is sounds like feminist generalization / hyperbole though.

In the case of the picture they chose - it looks like an arab womans eyes, looking out though a burka ... can only speculate on whats going on there.

Think about how black activists might have felt back in the 60's. Maybe similar to you posting on FB... actually definitely different but still.
