For that matter... Doesn't anybody realize that 76 is shockingly low?

I mean, in 2013, all external causes of death combined were 9,325 out of 148,824 listed deaths. That's all external causes combined. (Homicide didn't even make the top 20 causes of death in 2013.)

9,325... out of a population of 23,130,000.

76 is a very, very small number, no matter which of those you compare it to: population, deaths, external causes of death- you pick. (One might even call it so small as to be... A distraction.)

If 76 makes for a crisis, what do we call the 2,522 suicides in the same year, 74.7% of which were male, huh?

I guess since that crisis is overwhelmingly male, it justifies ignoring women's mental health and suicide, right?

Since it claims almost 30x as many lives as f-victim DV, does it also justify ignoring them?
