I guess that if they used any credible statistic they'd fill that room to the fullest and it certainly wouldn't look as good.

So they at least have a valid, aesthetic reason to cherry pick their sources. And after all who cares if truth gets lost somewhere in the message, as long as it's a catchy one.

Bear attack is worse than sexual assault and usually leads to death.
Talking monkeys (humans) are different than bears.
Eating prey and raping women are different. I think they are saying men have a biological urge to rape. Same as a bear eating humans. But the irony is very few bears are man eaters. Only by breaking the rules of the outdoors does a person get attacked by a bear.

If I choose to walk through the forest wearing all meat clothes and got eaten by a bear, you can't blame the bear.

On the other hand, if the bear somehow managed to come through my front door in the middle of the city, then I am not to blame.
