In my experience, Salon just aims for stuff that will get clicks, and they actually seem to almost have a policy of trying to publish articles that attack issues from both ends of an extreme spectrum. I've seen other articles on their site that a sympathetic to men, and of course plenty that take a feminist perspective. They're hit-or-miss for me, as a result, but I respect the fact that they seem to see the importance of giving voice to multiple sides of an issue.
