"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it." -John Lennon
I have been writing for about three years now and I did it primarily for myself. You can call it a kind of mental catharsis for me to point out the obvious in the above quote and let it all out. I am in awe of the insanity of modern feminism and the insanity of the wider culture when it comes to the treatment of men and boys and their issues. The lack of concern for men and boys by society would be classed as mass psychopathy, if it were targeted at any other group of people.
I wrote this post to announce my retirement from writing effective the 4th of October 2015. I am still and will continue to be supportive of the men's movement and MGTOW community, but it will be more as an observer and through financial and other means.
Given the inexplicable disappearance of manwomanmyth, neounplugged and truthovereverything over the last year or so, I thought it was best to let people know I am still alive and kicking and still supporting the men's movement and MGTOW. All is good.
Writing takes a lot of time and my rising work commitments simply do not allow me to continue to write to the level I wish to write at. Over the past few months I have made substantial updates to my content and added new sections of writing and videos to quite a few of my old articles. I like to keep them fresh. So you might want to revisit some of my articles or reshare some. They can all be reached from my HubPage profile which can be accessed from this link:
http://masculistfeminist.hubpages.com/
As of today I have published 58 articles over 3 years, with over 200,000 words. I have used and linked to hundreds of men's rights and MGTOW YouTube videos, articles, websites and commentary. My material has been viewed well over 100,000 times and across dozens of countries, some of which I can't even pronounce.
I say this not to gloat (quite a few prominent MRAs and antifeminists have tallied up more traffic than that, but my traffic is big relatively speaking for HubPages), but to demonstrate what would happen if even 1% of the male population just did what I did online. Multiply my impact by more than ten million times. HubPages needed a male voice on gender issues badly and I was only too happy to oblige. As Dr. Warren Farrell said, "Women can't hear what men don't say". Well I spoke.
A funny moment happened a few years ago when I saw some of my own material shared in my own social sphere, I had quite a smile on my face! I also notice I have been quoted by some feminist leaning websites and even in a book of some academic in political science and feminism. I find it funny that I am apparently that much of a concern. Little old me? Lol. I don't take myself as seriously as feminists do! I am chuffed. Of course I have returned the favour by regularly quoting feminists in my articles and exposing their bigotry. It is the movement that just keeps on giving. Feminists just don't know when to stop. I also notice some people have copied my material. I don't mind people doing that, but I would prefer they at least acknowledge the author. Some people from some organisations have done that and approached me. Nonetheless I don't believe people own ideas and I am more concerned about getting these ideas out, than about getting credit for everything. I learnt from others and others learnt from me and it is this exponential cycle of growing awareness that will see society start evolving beyond this feminist nonsense.
Again I say all of this not to gloat, but to encourage more men to write, make videos, share content and keep changing and adding to the social narrative on gender issues. Men should voice their opinion and should do so more often. There are plenty of men that could do what I did and men that can do it better. So do it!
I will still be around, but just as a passive observer. I will be continuing to support the men's movement. I would like to thank men's rights reddit for all your feedback, both positive and negative. I would like to acknowledge the excellent work of all the people I cited or embedded in my material.
I would also like to give out a big thank you to feminists, particularly the rad fems and the crazies. You have given me so much content to write about and showcase to the general public. It was a pleasure helping you dig yourselves into your own hole.
I am going to go back to going my own way now. I am going to chillax, crack open a beer and watch the feminist freakshow slowly unravel over the months and years to come.
You stay classy feminists! Men like myself are jumping off this runaway freight train of this gynocentric social system before it derails.
Cheers,
Ryan (aka Masculistfeminist)
