Like, if I break routine, it's hard for me to get back into it.
For example, if I know I won't be able to spend any time with a certain group of people I want to meet on my free day, but I will be able to meet them on sunday, I will just lie to myself saying things like "That won't hurt, I can just replace my free day with the other day" etc, but it always turns out badly in the long run.
I also feel like I make my routines in a way that gives me little leeway and I can't keep them for more than a week, basically, each day is the same, and after a while, it probably tears me up that I need to follow the same exact shit every day aka running -> cold shower -> breakfast -> school -> homework -> practicing for exams -> working on my project etc, and after a while, it just... slips.
How do I make a routine that's actually effective? or at least balanced so that I don't get tired of it after a while and tell myself "Oh, doing x won't be so bad..." . I fucking hate when I lie to myself, so I'd like to stop doing that.
