Pretty much going to say the same here... It is saddening, but as of now it is absurdly expensive for anyone to grab a fertilized embryo, transplant into other woman, offer to pay all her medical bills and reimburse for the nine months.

It would be nice if science could find a way for men to bake the baby, but I am also at a loss on how one tells the pregnant gender to put up with it a little longer when pregnancies are rife with hormones and can cause depression, body dysmorphia et al.

I want you guys to be able to have a word, but this is also something that should have been discussed before sexy things were a common occurrence. I told an ex of mine if he wanted children to impregnate someone else and I wouldn't even hold it against him, because I just do not want children. I have cats and a lot of college still left, and plans to donate my eggs next summer.

and those are our children you are murdering. Stop ignoring that to be selfish. If you don't want to go through pregnancy then use protection or closer your legs. If you fall pregnant in this day and age it is almost certainly something that YOU could have avoided and now you want to murder an unborn child because you got too drunk to remember to take a morning after pill. Or whatever. Men have rights as fathers too. here is the thing. WE are not talking about women's bodies. We are talking about the life growing inside. Separate from your body, That life is not you. It is an independent sentient being. you don't have the right to just kill that life off as if you are taking a dump. And stop making this about you, if you are not pregnant at the moment then it has nothing to do with you so it is not personal. it is just an article.

Did you consider in this hypothetical of her having been pregnant that it is 'her' child as well? Also, she said she was on the pill so getting all self-righteous about her closing her legs is stupid. Yes, men have rights as fathers. And by how that whole being pregnant thing works, you are by automatically bringing women's bodies into the conversation because they have the required genitalia and associated organs to become pregnant.

Also, from someone going to school to be a midwife in specific:

Not really. Do you know why most places doing abortions allow for twenty weeks? Because it does not yet feel pain, and in other research this doesn't kick in even until 24 weeks. The ability to feel pain is a common cut off point for vegans deciding what to eat. Pain requires a certain level of self-awareness that a plant does not have, so no, a fetus is not sentient. A fetus cannot feel pain, understand mathematics, present arguments or make basic requests.

Until you are nauseous for 6 months, bleeding everywhere and smelling and eating pork-chili nachos with lime pie and tartar sauce, crying for weeks on end for a reason you can't understand, peeing every six minutes and gaining ~30 lbs. THEN you get to be possibly horrendously depressed and anxious, freak out, and go crazy with hormones and kill a born baby because you don't know how to take care of this life and are worried about fucking it up.

That life inside a woman is NOT the woman's body

Tell me how my umbilical cord is not her body? Or the blood her cells created and that umbilical cord is taking that blood to the fetus. Are your blood cells not yours? Oh, and the umbilical cord grows out of the zygote. Are your testicular secretions not yours? I guess that would mean it's acceptable to pump and steal men's sperm to impregnate ourselves to sue you, the father, for that cold hard cash that us sluts /r/theredpill likes to hate are always after.
