Situation:

At a party recently, I was making my move to begin hooking up with a girl when she began to throw questions and concerns at me. She asked if I was going to remember her name the next day, if anyone was going to find out, and repeatedly told me that I was not going to get her to go upstairs. Meanwhile, she was touching my arms and leading me around the house in order to find better places to talk. During this interaction, I found myself in a mental struggle between showing indifference and showing interest just before closing with this girl. I recognized her shit tests, and shot them down accordingly, but at a certain point I felt like she was wasting my time and that I was displaying beta qualities by having to appease all her questions and concerns.
