Your approaches to girls require more preplanning. Don't make the goal getting her phone number, make it asking her out on the spot or setting up a date and time. Also if you are getting a number and 'waiting' to text her than you have already made a mistake. Interesting successful men, don't have time to worry about whether she will say yes or not, they act confidently ask and if she says no or waffles just move on.
