Seven to eleven... SEVEN... Seven years old girls are concerned about their looks... Seven years old girls are concerned about the looks of their Barby dolls, you dipshits... And seven years old girls supposedly have PARENTS that are supposed to take care of them and explain to them "if they're feeling down that they still don't look like Megan Fox" that it will take another 7 to 11 years to start looking like that because fucking biology. But I guess it's easier to blame this kind of shit on everyone else BUT the parents who are obviously BAD at parenting...

Ah, it's that time of the year again? Well, if this survey is any similar to the previous ones, it's a clear cut example of advocacy research. Girl Guiding profits when girls need "guiding", so it has to find problems. I also doubt that they want to actually solve the problems.

For example, in earlier "surveys", they did not ask, e.g., who made demeaning comments (e.g., about appearance). The implicit assumption was that boys do it (why would a group hurt itself), ignoring that groups are made of individuals who compete with each other. Likely there will also be problems with the scales and reply formats, use of leading questions, the terms will likely be badly defined (if at all), boys will not be sampled for a comparison group (simply assume they know everything and have no problems), the sample will be weakened ("know a girl who ..."), the results will be reduced for maximum impact, and much much more.

So that "open conversation" will be really open, without being constrained by helpful data. Essentially, surveys like these show what is wrong with advocacy research and with people who are willing to exploit children for their purposes. They want to make girls look weak and increase the perception that they need help -- their help. A better future looks different.

I read the other article linked at the bottom about a report girl guides did on sexism, and found it was so totally everywhere and ruining girls' lives.

The findings were based on a survey of how girls thought they were treated, not necessarily how they were treated. I can't help but assume that having feminist doctrine shovd down their throats made them a bit more likely to assume that there's a big sexist conspiracy against them. If you're told all these things about how sexist men are, from the age of 11, you're going to believe it.

Most of the 16 to 21-year-olds worried some employers may to some extent prefer to hire men." - Having a child will probably damage your career if you CHOOSE to take a lot of time off work to look after it. You can choose not to. And they're worried employers will favour men, based off what facts? Oh, none. They're just paranoid because of feminism telling them that employers will fail men, forcing them into a cocoon of victimhood. It also says in a latwer question that "70% want to combine a career and motherhood" - of course it's going to fucking affect your career.

"Of the 11 to 21-year-olds questioned, 75% agreed boys expected girls to look like images they saw in the media, while 71% said they would like to lose weight." - Firstly, how the fuck do these girls know what boys want? because it's a fucking lie, we don't expect women to look like supermodels for chrsit's sake. That is literally feminist dogma teaching them bullshit about men. And maybe it's okay for people to want to lose weight? Maybe it's not the sign of an evil patriarchy, and maybe these girls want to lose weight because they know being overweight is bad for their health, and during adolescence, they probably want male attention (assuming heterosexuality) and thus may want to be thinner. How is this bad?

"Three-quarters (76%) of the 11 to 21-year-olds said girls were judged harshly for sexual behaviour seen as acceptable in boys, with just 3% feeling the opposite." - This one is fair enough, you can't deny that slut shaming is a thing. Sure, there are reasons for it, but it is nevertheless true that a woman who just likes sex is viewed negatively.

"More than a third (36%) of all those surveyed had felt "patronised or made to feel stupid" because of their gender, rising to 60% of the 16 to 21-year-olds." - Oh yeah, because boys are never patronised or made to feel stupid because of their agenda. Even though books literally exist called 'boys are stupid throw rocks at them'. Men are never told that their gender is just stupid and we just think with our dicks. Never. No, our gender is always fucking praised all the time in the media. (i've literally seen the feminist society where I am talk about being male as an inherently negative thing. this is bullshit)

"Most of the 13-year-olds questioned said they had experienced sexual harassment, rising to 80% of 19 to 21-year-olds. This included being shouted and whistled at, sexual graffiti and pornography, sexual jokes and taunts as well as unwanted sexual attention, unwanted touching and stalking." - Sexual graffiti and pornography are harrassment? So now you're being harrassed by simply looking at something on a screen/ scrawled on a wall? This is an incredibly broad definition. Sexual jokes? For fucks sake, they're fucking jokes! You don't think guys are ever the butt of sexual jokes? And unwanted touching: If a guy who is trying to make a move touches you anywhere (not in a sexual place, just like, touching the arm) and you don't like the guy, he has now harrassed you. I call bullshit. To get rid of these behaviours would require round the clock policing of male sexuality, and really strict rules on how men can interact with women, lest they get hauled off to the gulag for disrespecting one. I'm not saying sexual harrassment is good, but these statistics make it look a lot worse than it actually is.
