They are with their aunt and her husband now. Read it in some Irish paper yesterday. Can't recall which now. But the step-mother wants custody for sure.

Incorrect. The children were placed in foster care until the court date. The judge found the aunt and uncle fit and willing to assume guardianship. The system worked.
