99%? Seems high. The single adult homeless population is mostly male, but even if we are looking at just that it can't be 99%.

OK 99 percent? No.

If you're using older stats it can be a very high proportion. More recently however with the recession, a lot more families are becoming homeless and this has had the effect of diluting the ratio of single men. So in fact these days I wouldn't be surprised if men are less than 70% especially if you count kids separately.
