This goes against people who say that college administrations are just doing what they are told. They have instituted these kangaroo courts because it is part and parcel to their ideology. Now that they have their preferred system in place, they are no longer interested in what the federal government has to say.

Hopefully they will continue to be sued. Maybe when some of these limousine liberal administrators lose their summer homes, then there will be change.

The linked article implies that NASPA opposes the rights of accused students, when in reality NASPA was only pointing out the issue with legislation giving rights to the accused that victims wouldn't have.

Legislation proposed in other states would create rights for accused students, but not victims...

Believe me, I am ALL for accused students getting the right to attorneys and judicial review of due process, but those are rights that victims/accusers should have too and I think NASPA has a point here.
