Lots of good points here, but I don't understand the hair one. The mainstream has always given boys shit about anything alternative. And currently, with trends like the undershave and the oh-so-popular-Manbun, it seems to me like hair is at its most flexible. I'm a woman, so feel free to let me know if you have had a different experience, but it seems like male fashion flexibility has more to do with the subculture of someone's region (north vs south, city vs suburb vs country) than time period.

That was a great read. Thanks for sharing. I just wish it was from a mainstream source. The name of the site almost put me off.
