However, a recent study showed that men were more likely to make anti-utilitarian decisions if the person they were saving had greater reproductive value to them than those he sacrificed. Sexual rivals and women past reproductive age hold no reproductive value to men.

So men make "anti-utilitarian" choices to save the women that can have babies over other men and women that are past reproductive age?

I'm not sure how that's "anti-utilitarian". It seems perfectly logical to save more women of reproductive age by sacrificing other men. After all, women are the limiting factor in reproduction. If anything, that's more utilitarian. It is a recognition that men are less valuable than women in the reproductive game. Harsh and shitty but true.
