So I got into an argument with my feminist friend who told me that women are very afraid of going outside when it's dark. I told her that yes, I know women are, but statistically men are more likely to become a victim of violence than women and I showed her some statistics that proved that. But then she told me that okey, but they probably provoked the other person, so how about unprovoked violence?

I showed her statistics that men are more likely to recieve violence from strangers, but she basically told me that if men get into a bar-fight (and provoked the other person) it would probably also be classified as ”violence by a stranger”.

So do you guys have any statistics that show how men and women compare with unprovoked violence?
